Brief:

To investigate the weather in the UK and produce a piece based on your findings

Description:

My chosen aspect of the English weather was fog. Using letterpress blocks, I wanted to create an artificial fog. I printed it on net curtains for they their natural opaque quality, and the letters 'f' 'o' and 'g' are printed in various sizes and both upper and lower case, to give a greater sense of depth. I also tried to get a sense of density and depth by using three curtains so the viewer could be inside the 'fog' and interact.
